Step One: Window Film Consultation
COMMERCIAL
A specialist will come to your business and conduct an on-site consultation to discover more about your property concerns and goals for commercial window tinting. For example, this may be a design consultation for decorative branding window films or a premium safety assessment for commercial security film systems. We’ll be able to provide you with a complete list of commercial solutions, timelines, and pricing after the first meeting.
RESIDENTIAL
Unless you want custom decorative films applied, we generally bring most items with us during a home consultation. Our contractor will examine all of your windows during the initial visit, take some preliminary measurements, provide you samples, and give pricing on the spot. The window film can then be applied immediately after the consultation, or we are always happy to schedule something later. It is entirely up to you!
Step Two: Window Film Preparation
COMMERCIAL
We always have you sign off on the films you selected before we prep the windows for commercial projects. If you have any special requirements, like security clearances, we will provide them at this time. We then begin the installation with our proprietary technique for commercial projects, including cleaning the windows with a razor blade and non-toxic solutions.
RESIDENTIAL
We prep windows for home installation by thoroughly cleaning your windows with a razor blade and then using our proprietary process. Then we will have you sign off on which products are to be installed on which windows. Since we bring our materials with us, we can cut everything to size right on-site, fitting each window with film as we go. This ensures minimal wasted product and a streamlined installation process.
Step Three: Window Film Installation
We carefully measure and cut the window films for custom applications during installation. During this stage, we also double-check that all surfaces have been adequately cleaned. Then we use C-Bond2 as a window film primer to strengthen both the glass and the window film product on a molecular level. C-Bond 2 is a fantastic adhesive that allows faster cure times and more excellent adhesion, resulting in the most durable window film possible.
Post-Installation
We wipe down all surfaces in the area after we are finished to make sure we leave your space even cleaner than we found it. We kindly request that you do not clean your windows for 30 days after application. Window film needs time to cure; any disturbance can jeopardize the integrity of your film’s installation. Bubbles may form during the natural drying process. They should never be popped since this might affect the window film’s performance. If this happens, please call us right away, and we will take care of it as soon as possible at no additional cost to you.
